Behaviour Support Practitioner
Annai Charlton is a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Step 2 Allied Health, bringing a wealth of experience from her academic and applied roles. Currently completing her PhD at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health through the University of Melbourne, Annai’s research on addiction, cognition, and lifestyle interventions complements her hands-on work with participants.
Annai has held various leadership roles, including as a Program Coordinator at the University of Melbourne, where she developed training opportunities and supported students in achieving their goals. Her plentiful experience as a Support Worker and Therapy Assistant at Step 2 Allied Health has allowed her to apply her deep understanding of behaviour change and capacity building, fostering personal growth and empowerment for participants. With a passion for improving mental health and well-being, Annai is excited to bring her knowledge and practical skills to the team at Step 2, where she strives to support individuals in achieving positive outcomes through person-centred, trauma-informed approaches. |
