Behaviour Support Practitioner
Jen Phillips is a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Step 2 Allied Health. Jen is an accredited Social Worker registered with the AASW. She has obtained a Bachelor of Social Work from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and is currently completing further studies in Psychology. Jen has extensive experience across disability, mental health, and family services, including roles as a Senior Social Worker and Specialist Support Coordinator, where she has honed her skills in capacity building, family mediation, and psychosocial recovery.
Jen's approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in a commitment to empowering individuals to achieve independence. Her varied experience, including as a family dispute resolution practitioner and restorative justice facilitator, reflects her ability to navigate complex social situations with empathy and professionalism. Jen brings her strong problem-solving skills and reflective practice to the team at Step 2 Allied Health. Jen works Monday to Friday and can support individuals of all ages across Geelong, Colac, and surrounding areas. Jen works every second Friday in our Warrnambool office. |
