Jenny is a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Step 2 Allied Health, with a strong background in disability, community services, and education. Jenny holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE – Post-16) with a specialist focus on learning disorders from the University of Wolverhampton, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Leisure Management from Staffordshire University, UK.
Jenny has over 15 years of experience working across disability, employment, and behaviour support services in both Australia and the UK. She has held a range of roles, including Senior Employment Consultant, Support Coordinator, and Youth Program Manager, and was a finalist in the National Employment Services Association (NESA) Awards in 2019. Her diverse professional background reflects her passion for supporting people with disability to live whole, empowered lives. Jenny’s approach is person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed. She uses evidence-based strategies to understand and respond to behaviours of concern and is committed to reducing and eliminating restrictive practices. Jenny brings with her a creative and collaborative mindset, drawing on her strengths in program development, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector experience. Jenny works Monday to Friday and can support individuals aged 4 to 65 across Colac, Geelong and surrounding areas. |
