Maddy Jalanski

Support Worker & Therapy Assistant

 Maddy is a Support Worker and Therapy Assistant, having joined Step 2 in 2022. Maddy has been working in the disability sector since 2019 in a variety of roles, including residential support work and assisting Speech Pathologists at Scope with Communication Access Assessments across Melbourne's Metro Trains and Yarra Trams.

Maddy holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance from RMIT University, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University.

Maddy loves supporting participants to build confidence, independence, and the skills they need to achieve their goals. Maddy enjoys helping with travel training, meal preparation, social and community participation, budgeting, road safety, and developing everyday life skills in a way that is meaningful and enjoyable. Maddy has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

Outside of work, Maddy enjoy gardening, being creative, and trying new experiences.​
