Meg is a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Step 2 Allied Health, bringing over four years experience across mental health, disability, and community services. Prior to this, Meg spent over a decade as a professional, freelance artist in the tabletop games industry.
She holds a Bachelor of Anthropology from Arizona State University, a Master of Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, a Cert IV in Mental Health and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science at Deakin University, with expected completion this year. Meg’s previous roles include Mental Health and Alcohol & Other Drugs Team Lead, Support Coordinator and Specialist Support Coordinator, Psychosocial Recovery Coach, group-based Games Therapist, and Sessional Trainer in community services. Through these roles she has developed strong skills in cross-sector collaboration (Health, Justice and Housing), risk assessment and safeguarding, justice liaison and advocacy, community reintegration planning, housing, forensic disability & mental health support, and clear, compassionate communication with clients and care teams. Meg’s approach is person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed. She focuses on creating supportive environments, reducing barriers to participation, and partnering with clients and their networks to progress practical, values-aligned goals. Meg works Monday to Thursday and can support individuals aged 12 to 65, with a particular speciality in complex psychosocial needs, dual diagnosis and forensic-justice backgrounds, across Geelong and surrounding areas. |
