Behaviour Support Practitioner
Olivia is a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Step 2 Allied Health, bringing experience across specialist behaviour support and disability support settings. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Griffith University and has completed further study in positive behaviour support through Monash University. She has also commenced studies in Speech Pathology (currently deferred).
Olivia comes to us from QLD with over six years in disability support, having most recently worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with JEMco, alongside her ongoing role as a Disability Support Worker supporting children and adults across a range of settings. Previously, she has worked across supported independent living and community-based supports, developing strong practical experience in working alongside participants and teams in day-to-day environments. Through these roles, she has developed a solid foundation in behaviour support processes, while also building strong skills in rapport, consistency, and collaborative practice.
Olivia’s approach is grounded in positive behaviour support and a strong commitment to learning and reflective practice. She is known for being kind, reliable, and easy to work with, and brings a genuine focus on getting to know the person behind the behaviour. She values feedback, works well within teams, and is open about continuing to build her confidence and skills with the support of those around her. Her practice prioritises understanding context, supporting consistency across environments, and working collaboratively with the person and those who support them to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Olivia will be working full time in Geelong and can support individuals across the lifespan. She brings particular experience in disability support environments, supported independent living settings, and working alongside multidisciplinary teams and support networks
