Behaviour Support Practitioner

Tamara is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with over a decade of experience in disability, mental health, and community services. Tamara holds diplomas in Drug and Alcohol, Mental Health, and Community Services and holds an Advanced Accreditation in Nature-Based Therapy. Since 2015, Tamara has worked in multiple roles in disability and mental health, including as a mental health skills facilitator and, most recently, as a Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner.
Tamara is committed to professional development, having completed training in Advanced Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and neurodiversity-affirming Behaviour Support, as well as many other specialist areas. At Step 2 Allied Health, Tamara contributes her compassionate and practical support to the team. Tamara works on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays each week, as well as alternating Fridays. Tamara can work with people aged 6–65 across Geelong, Lara, Colac and surrounds. |
