Step 2 Allied Health is facilitating a range of regular group programs supporting participants to learn and develop new skills in a group setting. Group programs provide an opportunity for participants to engage and interact wth others while also learning new skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Social Stars
'Social Stars' is a program designed to empower and support young girls with Autism in developing meaningful connections and skills to support relationships. the program focuses on self-identity, personal strengths, problem-solving and perspective taking whilst creating a safe and inclusive environment for growth. Each week includes a combination of interactive activities, discussions, and exercises to promote learning and social engagement

STEP 2 LEGO BASED THERAPY
STEP 2 LEGO BASED THERAPY is facilitated by therapists who have additional qualifications to coordinate the program. LEGO based therapy aims to increase play, problem solving, emotional regulation, executive functioning and communication skills.
Both Primary Aged Groups and Adult Aged Groups available.

COOKING GROUP
THE STEP 2 ALLIED HEALTH COOKING GROUP utilises the Step 2 Allied Health Geelong Life Skills hub to allow groups of participants to gather and learn about basic kitchen safety and food handling skills, whilst developing their knowledge to independently create a range of snacks and meals that can be easily replicated at home.
Ran by Step 2 Allied Health support workers, the group will be encouraging everyone to socialise and build on friendships within a supported group environment.
Everyone will cook, eat and clean up together and by the end of term will have created their own cook books based on the meals and snacks they have prepared during the term.
