Occupational Therapist

Shamley has completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and has a Certificate IV in Disability as well as a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention. Shamley also holds a certification in Equine Experiential Learning Facilitator from the Centre for Equine Experiential Learning and has completed her Level 1 training in Animal Assisted Play Therapy.

 Shamley has extensive experience in supporting children and adults in out-of-home care as they develop their capabilities, independence, and life skills to lead meaningful lives. She is excited to integrate her love for animals into her work as an OT and capitalise on each client’s unique strengths and needs by utilising person-centred practice and holistic approaches.
