Occupational TherapistShamley has completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and has a Certificate IV in Disability as well as a Certificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention. Shamley also holds a certification in Equine Experiential Learning Facilitator from the Centre for Equine Experiential Learning and has completed her Level 1 training in Animal Assisted Plat Therapy.
Shamley has extensive experience in supporting children and adults in out-of-home care as they build their capabilities, independence and life skills in order lead meaningful lives. She is excited to be integrating her love for animals into her work as an OT and to capitalise on each participants’ unique strengths and needs by utilising person-centered practice and holistic approaches. |
